Harold George Unangst, Jr., passed away Tuesday morning, June 5, 2012 at Samaritan Regional Health System following an extended illness.

Harold was born August 30, 1950 in Lodi, Ohio and was the son of the late
Harold G. Sr. and Ruth Marie (nee Wilson) Unangst.

He was a graduate of Mapleton High School class of 1968.

Harold was a former employee of the A.L. Garber/Caraustar Co. for 33 years. He then worked for Southern Standard Carton in Louisville, KY. For two years, Strine Printing
Co. for three years and most recently Apex Paper Box Co. in Cleveland, Ohio.

He was a member of the Grace Brethren Church in Ashland, the Eagles Club #2178 where he had been a past member of the bowling and golf teams. He enjoyed Drag Racing and had raced at Dragway 42 and the Norwalk Raceway and liked to play poker.

Harold is survived by his fiancée, Della Fisher of Ashland, and two sisters, Linda (Tom) Smith and Margie Unangst both of Ashland.
