Condolence: We are so sorry for your loss. I know he's in a better place and no longer will struggle with his health issues, but that does not ease the pain for those left behind.

Harold and I did our fair share of sparring over the years at Caraustar, but we both learned to have a mutual respect for what each of us had to deal with. We realized that business was business on both sides, and we never took those things personally. When all of those issues were done, we could both just sit and talk as friends. Over the years, we did develop a friendship which we both appreciated. Harold knew just how hard I was trying to save the plant from closing, and to this day, it still bothered both of us how that came about.
