Phyllis A. Oxenrider, 75, of Ashland, passed away Saturday evening December 27, 2014 at Hospice of North Central Ohio following a short illness.
Phyllis was born February 20, 1939 in Wooster, Ohio to the late Maynard E. and Helen L. (Begert) Oxenrider. She had been a resident of the Ashland area for most of her life, and was a 1957 graduate of Ashland High School.
She was employed at the A.L. Garber Company for over 30 years and had worked in the Bindery Department.
She was a member of the Nankin Federated Church, and she enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and Indians.
Phyllis is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth (Kay) Oxenrider of Ashland, two nieces and two nephews, Michael Oxenrider, Kris (Keith) Canfield, Robin (Mark) Oberli and Keith (Shay) Oxenrider and six great nieces and nephews, and her aunt, Lorna Weibe of Orrville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Earlenbaugh officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services Saturday morning at the funeral home.
