Connie Sue (Sloan) Osbun, 64

Connie Sue Osbun, 64, of Ashland passed away suddenly, Friday, September 11, 2015.

She was born on September 28, 1950 in Ashland to the late Kenneth C. and Leota (nee Jackenheimer) Osbun.

Connie graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1969. She retired after more than 20 years from the American Red Cross as a charge nurse.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Connie enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid animal lover.

Connie is survived by two sons, Andy (Lisa) Sloan of Pataskala and Jason (Kari) Sloan of St. Clair Shores; three grandchildren, Jacob, Marissa, and Kenny Sloan; three sisters, Joan Wallace of Ashland, Barbara (Terry) Schaeg of Ashland; and Sandra (Chuck) Case of Ashland; one brother, John (Darlene) Osbun of Ashland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a nephew, Kevin Osbun.

Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 508 Center Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805 with Reverend Michael Koch officiating. Interment will follow in the Nankin Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home, 313 Center Street, Ashland, OH 44805.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray final expenses.
