Glendora “Chris” Gregory, 52, of New London, passed away Friday afternoon July 7, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 4, 1965 in Elyria, Ohio and was the daughter of Perry C. and Betty Jo (Booth) Eagle. She was a graduate of Oberlin Senior High School, class of 1983. Chris and her family moved to northern Ashland County in 1997 from Oberlin, Ohio.
She had been employed as a Material Specialist for NN Inc. for 17 years.
She was a very active member of Trinity Baptist Church and was involved with the Youth Ministry, a member of the Praise Team, Ladies Ministry, Children’s Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She also enjoyed reading, bowling and making Stained Glass pieces.
On June 11, 1988 she was married to Richard Gregory who survives her. She is also survived by two daughters, Nicky (Lewis III) Brown of Ashland; Danielle (Christopher) Champion of New London; four grandchildren, Lewis IV & Ilyssa Brown and Caelynn and Joshua Champion, three sisters, Vickie (Ronnie) Dobbins of Bomont, W.VA; Nannette “Sue” Eagle of Elyria, OH; Stephanie (Virgil) Dotson of Lorain, OH. And a brother, Jerry “Sam” Eagle of Elyria, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, George and Roger Eagle.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Grilley officiating. Burial will be in the Nova Cemetery. Friend may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service on Tuesday at the Trinity Baptist Church.
