Theo Sue Mager, 74
Theo Sue Mager, 74, Ashland, on Saturday, August 19, 2017 a hand was extended from the Lord and she departed from this life to another.
Sue was born on May 7, 1943 to the late John and Geneva (nee Buzzard) Cumpston near Rocklick, West Virginia.
She married Robert B. Mager in December of 1964. Sue was a homemaker all of her life for her loving family with a kitchen that was never closed to anyone.
Sue was a devoted member of the New Liberty Baptist Church in Polk. Throughout her life, she enjoyed painting and crafts, but most of all was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Mr. Robert Mager of Ashland; one daughter, Kathy (Carson) Conner; four sons, Dan (Kim) Mager, Matt Mager, John (Alania) Mager, and Cody (Lynsey) Mager; one step-son, Robert (Shermaine) Mager; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one brother, Terry (Barb) Cumpston of Rocklick, West Virginia.
In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by two infant sons, John Bruce and James Brent; and two brothers, Tom and Dick Cumpston.
Friends may call, Tuesday evening, August 22, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home, 313 Center Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
Funeral services will be held, Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Anderson Funeral Home, 39 Maple Avenue Cameron, West Virginia 26033 with Pastor Mike Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocklick Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home in West Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Liberty Baptist Church, 425 US-42, Polk, Ohio 44866 or to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
