Laura L. Hart, 66, of Ashland, passed away early Sunday morning September 24, 2017 at University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center.
She was born in Ashland on January 22, 1951 and was the daughter of Arthur A. and Martha L. (Dinsmore) Hart. She was a graduate of Ashland High School class of 1969 and had been a resident of Ashland her entire life.
Laura Worked as a Distribution Clerk for the Ohio Edison Company, Mansfield Office, from 1969 until her retirement in 2006. Following her retirement from Ohio Edison, Laura had worked in Home Health Care retiring in 2012.
She had been a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church.
She enjoyed doing counted cross stitch, making many gifts for family and friends, scrapbooking and gardening.
She is survived by her cousins, Janie Van Grundy of Johnstown, OH; Karen Sarver of Logan, OH; Judy King of Columbus, OH; Amy Black and Larry King both of Rushville, OH; and her special friend Pansy Easterling of Ashland.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her four-legged companion Molly.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., in the Ashland Cemetery with the Rev. Kay Ashby officiating. There will be no public visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthews Episcopal Church1515 Mifflin Ave., Ashland, Ohio 44805 or to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Dr., Ashland, Ohio 44805.
