Terry L Whitehead, 71, of Loudonville, passed away Thursday evening November 9, 2017 at University Hospital, Seidman Cancer Center, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Terry was born in Ashland, Ohio on October 28, 1946 and was the son of the late Wilbur Myron and Evelyn Helen (Harrison) Whitehead. He had been a resident of Ashland County his entire lifetime. He graduated from Ashland High School in 1964. Following his graduation, he joined the United States Navy and served his country from May of 1964 until October of 1967.
When he returned home he went to work for the A.L. Garber Company, later Caraustar, in the printing department and worked for the company for over 33 years.
Terry enjoyed doing woodworking in his shop, cutting fire wood, golfing and bowling.
On July 26, 1969 he was married to Patti Long, who preceded him in death on September 22, 1993.
He is survived by one son, Shawn K. (Rebecca) Whitehead of Loudonville, three grandchildren, Sean, Jessica and Madison Whitehead; two sisters, Sharon and Beverly and one brother, Jerry (Bonnie) Whitehead of Mansfield.
