Donna B. McDaniel, 90, of Ashland, passed away Wednesday evening August 8, 2018 at the Crystal Care Center in Ashland following a short illness.
Donna was born in Mansfield, Ohio on March 15, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Elza Lee and Mary Jane (Edwards) Boswell. She had been a resident of the Ashland area all her life.
At the age of 18 she went to work at the A.L. Garber Company in the factory division and through the years worked her way through the company to become a member of the Sales Division. She retired from the company when she was 72 years old working for over 54 years.
Donna enjoyed Bowling in the Garber Bowling League, Line Dancing and riding her bicycle.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Stanley) Hissong of Savannah; two granddaughters, Tracy Hissong of Ashland and Carla Glover of Mansfield; a great grandson, Brody Glover of Mansfield; her niece, Sandee Searle of FL; and her nephew, Michael Rogers of FL.
In keeping with Donna’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services held at this time.
