Stephanie A. Salyers, 48 of Marion, formerly of Ashland, passed away, Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in her home.
She was born on July 4, 1970 to Robert and Linda (nee Gilman) Hill II in Ashland, Ohio.
Stephanie graduated from Mapleton High School, Class of 1988. She went on to attend the Ohio State University. Stephanie married the love of her life, Bill Salyers on September 17, 2005.
She worked at Marion General Hospital where she was a medical transcriptionist.
Stephanie was a former member of the Maple Grove Church of the Brethren, where she played in the Bell Choir. She enjoyed reading, crafting, quilting baby blankets, and making gourmet cakes.
She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Bill Salyers of Marion; one son, Connor F. Salyers of Marion; her loving parents, Robert and Linda Hill of Ashland; one brother, Robert (Jackie) Hill III of Michigan; and two nieces, Lydia and Evelyn Hill of Ashland.
Stephanie is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Myers and Reverend John Ballinger officiating. Interment will follow in the Imhoff Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bill Salyers, for Connor Salyers educational fund, 313 Center Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
