Phyllis Jean Neibert, 92
Phyllis Jean Neibert, 92, of Ashland, passed away, Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in her home, with her family by her side.
She was born March 12, 1926 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to the late Gail K. and Georgia Crystal (nee Olvey) Shuman.
Phyllis married Myron Neibert on November 5, 1971. They were married for 47 years, he preceded her in death on February 1, 2018.
She worked at Archway Bakery and Production Rubber.
She was a member of Ashland Christian Church. Phyllis enjoyed reading, solving crossword puzzles, painting pictures, reading, and spending time with her family.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters; Joyce Johnson of Loudonville, Diana Maxwell of Creston, and Carolyn (Brian) Hoagland of Killbuck, a son, Ed (Violet) Kaufman of Shelby, 10 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Phyllis was preceded by a son, Chuck Kauffman; a granddaughter Valorie Boyd; a sister Janice Keller; a brother Larry Shuman; and a grandson-in-law, Ray Edwards.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home, 313 Center St., Ashland, Ohio 44805, with Rev. Scot Myers officiating. Entombment will follow in the Ashland County Memorial Park Mausoleum. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
