Kenneth W. Ferreira II, 37
Kenneth W. Ferreira II, 37 of Shiloh passed away, Thursday morning, November 22, 2018 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
He was born on May 11, 1981 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to Kenneth W. Ferreira I and Carol Ferreira.
Ken graduated from Galion High School, Class of 1999. He was employed at the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging for the past several years and was previously employed at Meijer for more than 18 years.
He married the love of his life, the former Hollie Renee Ramsey on September 19, 2009.
Ken was a member of Grace Ranch Church. He enjoyed bowling and playing board games. He was an avid Ohio State University and Boston Red Socks fan. Ken enjoyed traveling to Disney, but most of all loved to spend time with his wife and two daughters.
He is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Hollie Ferreira of Shiloh; two daughters, Autumn Paisley Ferreira and Raegan Presley Ferreira; his mother, Carol Ferreira of Shiloh; one sister, Stephanie (John) Swingle of Finley; a father-in-law, Jeff (Terri) Ramsey of Bellville; a mother-in-law, Marta Ramsey of Ashland; two sisters-in-law, Heather (Jimmy) Parsons of Ashland and Amber (Ritchie) of Shelby; four nieces, Dalynn Parsons, Savannah Keener, Hayley Kanzig, and Takiah McKinney; two nephews, Dylan Parsons and Gavin Eberhart; and special friends, Andy (Kim) Shank of Ashland.
Ken is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth W. Ferreira I; his paternal grandparents, Manuel and Cermilda Ferreira; and his maternal grandparents, Antone and Therese Ferreira.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the Grace Brethren Church, 1144 West Main Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805 with Pastor Nathan Wells officiating. Interment will be in the Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to Hollie Ferreira, 2628 Silver Fox Trail, Ashland, Ohio 44805 for both Autumn and Raegan’s education fund.
