Esther J. Fulk
Esther J. Fulk, 88 of Mansfield passed away Tuesday morning, August 20, 2013 at Brookwood Place.
She was born on January 25, 1925 to the late Manice and Edna (nee Dalton) Smith in Ashland County. She proudly graduated from Savannah High School in the class of 1943.
Esther married Clarence W. Fulk on March 23, 1947. Prior to her becoming a mother, she worked in the office for the F.E. Myers Company. She and Clarence owned and operated a dairy farm on Charles Road in Richland County.
She had a love for children’s ministries, where she taught classes at both Paradise Hill and the Grace Brethren Church, where she was a member.
Esther leaves behind, one daughter, Martha (Scott L.) Brown of Ashland; three sons, David C. Fulk of Grand Island, Florida, Roger E. (Debby) Fulk of Mansfield, and Gail A. (Cathy) Fulk of Mansfield; 14 grandchildren, Darcie Broom, Kyle, Brooke, Mary Beth, Travis, Janey, Carey, Emily, Grant, Isaac, Caitlyn Fulk, and Jesse, Jacob, and Elly Brown; and 4 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Esther is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence of 60 years of marriage on November 6, 2007; two grandchildren, Seth and Sara Fulk; and a brother, Charles E. Smith.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grace Brethren Church, 1144 West Main Street, Ashland, OH 44805 with Reverend Norm Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call, Friday, August 23, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home.
