Obituary for Louis J Johnson

Reverend Louis J. Johnson, 65,

Reverend Louis J. Johnson, 65, of Ashland passed away, Thursday, June 19, 2014 unexpectedly.

He was born in Crawley, Louisiana to the late Louis and Wanda (nee Mitchell) Johnson.

Louis pastored at the First Church of God on Liberty Street in Ashland. He enjoyed helping and giving to others. Louis always felt, “there was always a way to help everyone”.

Louis is survived by his son, William Johnson of Ashland.

A funeral service celebrating Louis’ life will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ray and Joan Kroc Center, 527 East Liberty Street, Ashland, OH 44805 with Captain Brett DeMichael officiating. Interment will be in the Heartland Home Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in care of Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home, 313 Center Street, Ashland, OH 44805, to help defray final expenses.

Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
