Kim S. Rose, 57, of Ashland passed away, Saturday morning, surrounded by her family, September 5, 2015 in Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born on November 15, 1957 to David and Ann (nee Stevens) Stackhouse in Ashland. Kim married Thomas D. Rose on May 5, 1979 in St. Edward Catholic Church.
Kim was employed by Bookmasters and Hedstrom Corporations during her life. She enjoyed bowling at Luray Lanes and flower gardening. Kim was extremely proud of her butterfly garden at home. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Kim is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 36 years, Tom Rose of Ashland; her mother, Ann Stackhouse of Ashland; one son, Steven Rose of Ashland; one daughter, Jessica (Rusty) Turner of Ashland; six grandchildren, Austin, Dyllon, and Cienna Rose, Jocelyn, Kenley, and Jaxon Turner; two sisters, Robin Stackhouse of Bedford and Shelly Stackhouse of Ashland; one brother, Chris Stackhouse of Ashland; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Kim is preceded in death by her father, David Stackhouse on December 20, 2014.
Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Reverend Father Rodney A. Kreidler officiating. Interment will follow in the Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may call, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
