Ricky L. Rannels, 61
Ricky L. Rannels, 61 of Ashland passed away, Wednesday, March 09, 2016 in Hospice of North Central Ohio.
He was born January 26, 1955 in Ashland to the late Marshall and Geneva (nee Eikleberry) Rannels.
Rick graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1974. He was employed for more than 33 years at Faultless Rubber Company, later becoming Abbott Laboratory.
He was a volunteer for the Ashland Fire Department and enjoyed fishing throughout his life.
Rick was a member of the Garber Brethren Church. He loved his registered German shepherds, Ike, Boots, and Hawk.
He is survived by his sister, Dixie Scott of Ashland; and six nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Rick is preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Ronald Rannels; and a niece, Robyn D. Scott.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Theisen officiating. Interment will be in the Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
