God saw fit to bless this world with Randall (Randy) William Arnholt on September 26, 1952.
His loving parents, Donald E., now deceased, and Dorothy Lucille Sidle Arnholt have been life-long residents of Ashland. Randy moved here from Mansfield over 10 years ago to care for his mother. Randy left on his final adventure quite suddenly, July 11, 2016. He joins his brother Stanley, Grandparents William and Mae Sidle, Charles Long, and Clarence and Grace Arnholt who preceded him in death.
Randy worked as an electrician at General Motors in Mansfield until his retirement. He was hard working and responsible. Randy loved skiing and biking and made cross country treks to follow his passions, but his heart was always near his mother and the Lord. He didn’t preach or wear God on his shirt, but Randy walked the walk of a truly Christian man.
When you spent an hour with Randy, you were in the presence of a very good and caring person with a terrific ornery streak and delightful sense of humor.
As Randy’s mom will attest, he had become in recent years, a very good cook as well as a dedicated caregiver.
Randy not only loved family but was a tremendous asset to the Sidle and Arnholt families, always willing to pitch in and help. Everyone needs a son, brother, cousin, and uncle like Randall William Arnholt. Our families and his friends will miss him terribly.
He was a member of the M.O.B., a fact about which he joked. But spent many hours prepping for trips with the Mid-Ohio Bikers.
He also was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Assemblies, ministered by the Reverend Dr. Paul E. Tracy Sr.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 18, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Paul E. Tracy Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Loudonville Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Pentecostal Assemblies, 323 Steele Ave., Ashland, Ohio 44805.
