My deepest sympathy to the family for the loss of Rachel. I am the youngest cousin on the Poppe side. My mother was the youngest sister of Rachel's father, Lewis. I grew up on the Poppe homestead north of New Bremen, OH. My mother used to have the family reunions there when I was little. I always enjoyed going to Uncle Lewis's store when I was little.
