Darrell G. Harper, 51, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday morning, January 3, 2017 at Crystal Care Center in Ashland.
Darrell was born in Ashland on November 19, 1965 and was the son of Tracy (Boots) and Goldie A. (nee Daniel) Harper. He has been a resident of Ashland his entire lifetime.
He attended the Dale Roy School in Ashland and enjoyed attending the Dale Roy Day Program.
He enjoyed watching baseball, the Cleveland Indians were his team, basketball, swimming and being outdoors.
He is survived by his siblings, Debra (Benjamin) Roloff of Eureka, MT; Tracy (Lesa) Harper of Ashland and Delbert (Darla) Harper of St. Petersburg, FL. Also surviving are nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews including, Rachel Starr and her children Colton and Bella Starr; Travis (Rochelle) Starr and their children Landon and Norah Starr; Matthew (Christy) Harper; Kristen Behrendsen; Jacob Harper and Daniel Harper.
Funeral services will be held Friday January 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Janet Chilcote officiating. Burial will be in the Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
