Karl Ray Wile, 63 of Nova, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon April 4, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic in Brunswick, Ohio.
Karl was born in Akron, Ohio on March 19, 1954 and was the son of Carl and Sarah Venna (nee Laney) Wile.
He started working for Cummins in Bedford, Ohio as a diesel technician when he was 22 years old and had been with the company for 40 years. In his spare time he enjoyed farming and was able to buy a 66 acre farm at the age of 29. As his passion for farming grew and he would lease land in the surrounding area to farm also.
He also enjoyed golfing, especially playing with his son Ray before he passed away in 2010.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Victoria (Vaughn) who he married in 1973. Also surviving are two daughters, Michelle Wile of Wellington, Ohio; Ginger Dill of Columbus, Ohio; a granddaughter, Alyssa Rodriguez; his mother and step-father, Sarah and E. Q. Blake of Canton, Ohio; His father and step-mother, Carl (Marilyn) Wile of Sebring, FL; two sisters, Shelli Peters of Akron, OH; Susan (David) Hughes of Ft. Myers, FL. and several nieces, nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ray Q. Wile on February 5, 2010 and his grandmother, Mary Jessie Lydic.
The family will receive friends on Sunday April 9, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home where a Memorial Service will be held, following the visitation, at 3:15 p.m. with Pastor Doug Gregory officiating. A private family committal will be held in the Nova Cemetery.
