Eva C. Best, 95
Eva Catherine Best, 95 of Ashland passed away Wednesday morning, April 19, 2017 in University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center.
She was born on March 4, 1922 to the late John and Suzanne Potye. Eva married Harold Best who proceeds her.
Eva retired after many years from Ideal Electric. Throughout her life, she enjoyed coloring, flower gardening, quilting, reading and cooking.
She is survived one daughter, Nancy Everly of Paradise Hill; one son, Jon (Christine) Best of Lexington; two granddaughters Eva raised, Amber (Richard) Emmens of Polk and Mindy (Sam) Craig of Worley, Australia; eight additional grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband Harold, Eva is preceded in death by one son, James Best; one daughter, Janet Metz; and two brothers, George and Chris Potye.
Graveside services will be held, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Imhoff Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home.
