Norma Kay Halama, 75
Norma Kay Halama, 75 of Ashland passed away, Saturday morning, September 2, 2017 in the Wasen Rehabilitation Center at Brethren Care Village.
She was born October 15, 1941 in Ashland to the late Everett M. and Maxine B. (nee Urie) Amsbaugh. Norma graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1959.
Norma married the love of her life, Fred K. Halama on March 25, 1961. She was a homemaker all of her life.
She enjoyed crafts and loved to bake.
Norm is survived by loving husband of 56 years, Fred Halama of Ashland; two sons, Ken (Sylvia) Halama of Marathon, Florida and Mark Halama of Ashland; two grandsons, Trent and Trey Halama; and one sister, Linda Baughman of Ashland.
She is preceded in death by one sister, Marilyn Stehle; and one brother, Philip Amsbaugh.
Funeral services will be held, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Pastor John Hall officiating. Interment will be in Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
