Lynnea Berr, English Springer Rescue America -ESRA Ohio & TMT Rescue volunteer
Madeline was always willing to help with rescue, whether it was a local event, a transport, be in a Parade of Rescues at Springer Nationals, or bringing a dish to a picnic! We roomed together at a Springer Nationals held in Kentucky some years ago, along with Ben, who was to be in the Parade of Rescues that year. Recently I found ESRA calendars from years past showing Maggie, her original rescue, sleeping under the Christmas tree. Another calendar showed Farley, Gunner and Ben in the bathtub!
She worked tirelessly contacting rescues, pulling and transporting dogs of all kinds to get them from shelters to rescues or foster homes in other states so they would have a second chance at life. She will be greatly missed by her rescue friends, both personally and professionally.
Madeline was such a special woman and a great friend. She saved countless lives of dogs and was so loving and caring. I will miss her so very much! Love you Madeline!
Madeline was a friend and co-worker when I worked in Mansfield at United Telephone. She was witty, smart and very compassionate. She was respected for her knowledge and leadership. I enjoyed the time I spent with her and am sorry to hear of her passing. May God comfort those who mourn and be assured her infectious laugh is being shared in heaven!
Madeline and I worked on many animal rescues together. May her kind soul rest in peace. Keeping her loved ones in my thoughts and prayers. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences.
We have only known Madeline for all too short a time but will miss her heartwarming smile, love of life, both human and animal, as well as her strong Irish spirit. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, fiancé Jim, colleagues and friends of Madeline.
I knew Madeline through dog rescue. She was passionate, compassionate and dedicated for the homeless animals. She made the world a better place; the world has lost a wonderful person. Peace.
