Condolence From: Mindy King
Condolence: I want to leave my heartfelt sympathy with Nick's family and loved ones. Nick was a warm, loving, kind and inspirational man. I admired his compassion for doing what he loved and his dedication to his family and friends. I grew up with Nick and Brigid and Nick was in my wedding. Mrs. McGovern was my college English professor. The entire family was always friendly and blessed. I know Nick is now with his dad and spreading his song and gifts to all. God Bless you all.

Condolence From: Jack Vonderahe
Condolence: I met Nick when he lived in Cincinnati and just started to play bass. I'm eighteen years older than Nick and I play guitar. I turned him on to playing blues and he took right to it. He wore me out wanting to practice all the time. He had the music bug big time. He was my true Blues Brother. He came to Cincy twice last year and played with my band. We had plans to do a lot more in the future and we would have tore it up. Sadly, not to be. RIP my man, we will jam again.

Condolence: The loss in our lives of my dear, gentle, compassionate nephew leaves a hole in my heart. From the first time I met him when he was a toddler I was impressed with his caring of others, his gentle and sincere interest in all those around him, his quick sense of humor and ability to laugh at himself and see the benefits of not taking himself too seriously. He pursued his passion for music and was courageous in following that passion. He was such a thoughtful and loving son to my sister, an amazing and caring brother to his siblings, a supportive and always available loving uncle to his nieces and nephews, a thoughtful and loving nephew/cousin/friend to all he knew. My life is so much richer for having had Nick be a part of it and I feel so blessed to have known him. His music, his love, and his life will forever be with me.

Condolence: I'm deeply sadden to hear of Nick's passing. Nick was a grade ahead of me at Hillsdale. He was my best friend's, brother's friend so I would see him occasionally when we were younger at their house. I saw him last, visiting at my 30th class reunion in 2014. As the music and dancing started, he offered me his hand and said, "come on Sherry, let's dance"! I was so surprised to hear my name and that he remembered me! He made me feel special that evening, and I had a wonderful time. May the Lord surround his family during this difficult time and find strength and comfort in the days ahead. Isaiah 41:10
