Maryann Smith, 87
Maryann Smith, 87 of Ashland passed away, Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in Ohio Health MedCentral Hospital.
She was born on March 22, 1931 in Clarksville, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Anna (nee Graca) Vojtush.
Maryann retired after more than 20 years from National Latex Company. She was a devoted member of the St. Edward Catholic Church. Throughout her life, she enjoyed working with ceramics.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Smith and Joseph Smith; two brothers, Richard (Patricia) Vojtush and Frank Vojtush; three sisters, Elizabeth (Frank) Andolsek, Anna (Richard) Harris, and Susan (Paul) Simon; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Maryann is preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas Joseph, John, Andrew, and Joseph Vojtush Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Edward Catholic Church with Father Rod Kreidler presiding. Interment will follow in the Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Edward Catholic Church, 501 Cottage Street, Ashland Ohio 44805.
