ROCK STORY

Mom had always wanted us to see the country. We did road trips every year. One year we did the trip to New England aera. One of the stops was to a place called Rock of Ages, 558 Granitevile Rd., Barre Vt. 05654. Joe and I loved all of the big rocks and wanted to take them all home. Mom said you can take one as the owner said that pile is free to take. We were very young and we try to pick up one that was like 3 foot long and 2 foot wide with no success to move it at all. Joe and I nfound a smaller one and we did all we could do to move it and put it into the car. Joe being the rock person got the rock. That is the rock story of mom lettting us grow and explore and do.
